The Honeywell Allergen Plus Series HEPA Air Purifier is a portable air purifier that’s capable of introducing a steady amount of clean and fresh air into your setting. Using HEPA filtration, this home air purifier can help capture up to 99.97% of the following microscopic airborne allergens and particles: dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mite debris and smoke.¹ This makes it an excellent option to use an air purifier for allergies or as a pet air purifier. The quiet air purifier features three power settings that can easily be accessed using the touch screen LED control panel.
-
Quiet Clean is the quietest setting and is intended for removing small particles from the surrounding air.
-
General Clean is the recommended setting used for handling dust. It’s optimized for everyday cleaning.
-
Pollen is intended for capturing pollen and is best used during pollen season.
The availability of three settings gives you some nice options to consider when using your air purifier. The control panel also comes equipped with a filter check/reset light that removes the guessing work when replacing filters. Intended for medium sized rooms (100 sq. ft.) this Honeywell Air Purifier has been independently tested and AHAM Verifide to circulate and filter room air up to 4.8x per hour.² In addition, the carbon activated pre-filter helps trap larger particles while helping reduce odors and VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
A+ Genuine Pre-Filter
This portable air purifier works with the Honeywell A and A+ Pre-Filter. The Pre-Filter is the first level of filtration and helps capture large particles such as dust, lint, fibers and pet fur and helps to reduce VOCs & odors from cooking, smoke, bathrooms and pets. This filter should be replaced every 3 months. The filter check/reset light will remind you when it’s time to change your filter. Initial filter included. To ensure stated product performance, use only genuine and certified Honeywell replacement filters.
G Certified True HEPA Filter
The Certified Honeywell True HEPA G Replacement Filter helps capture up to 99.97% of microscopic allergens, 0.3 microns & larger from any air passing through the filter. For optimal cleaning performance, replace your HEPA filter every 12 months. The filter check/reset light on the HPA080B Air Cleaner will remind you when it’s time to change your filter. Initial filter included.
AHAM Verifide
This air purifier for allergies is AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) Verifide meaning that it has been independently tested to ensure its efficiency in reducing smoke, dust and pollen in the suggested room size. The AHAM assigns a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) Rating that measures the volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner. The Honeywell HPA075B Allergen Plus Compact Tower Air Purifier received the following CADR Rating:
- 4.8 Air changes per hour in a 100 sq. ft. room
